How do you photograph weddings?
I love to take a documentary approach, capturing your love exactly as it is, using prompts as direction when needed. I will be by your side the most throughout your entire day. I truly will be your sidekick. My job becomes so much more than taking photos. From fixing loose hairs and lipstick on teeth, to making sure that the timeline is running smoothly and everything else in-between. I love documenting things exactly how they unfold. From hugs with Grandma, to the little ones dancing away and then of course the usual family portraits and some fun ones as well. I love to have a good mix of candid and posed portraits for you to look back on of your wedding day.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum of 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your love story). You can download all the photos from the gallery as well as, share them, choose your favorites, and order prints! And to make the wait time easier, I always provide sneak peeks within 1-2 weeks from your wedding day.
Do you offer different editing styles?
I sure do! Part of keeping my creativity flowing is by offering a variety of editing styles. If you'd like light and airy we can do that! If you'd like a moodier, earthier vibe, we can do that as well! I also love to add some trendy styles, like grainy edits and some motion blur within my galleries to add some artistic fun to your images.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am Nova Scotia based and live specifically in Pictou County. All travel within Pictou County is included in wedding packages. Further travel requires travel fees and if necessary, accommodation fees. I love to adventure to new places so please don't hesitate to reach out inquiring about destination wedddings and/or elopements. I would love to be your fun and adventurous photographer!
How many pictures will we receive?
For weddings I typically provide between 50 & 100 images per hour using a mixture of colour as well as black and white images to tell your story.
Basic one hour session packages come with 25-35 images per package with upgrade options available.
